The art of photography is a mix of the technical and the creative. These photography workshops, which embrace both digital and classic film photography, will give you a full grounding in the mechanics of how your camera works, so that technically you are as proficient as you need to be.
There is no ‘one-size-fits-all’ attitude. Instead, Tom has developed a tried and tested methodology whereby he works with each person’s individual ability to achieve visible improvements. The overall aim of the photography workshops is to make you a more creative and better photographer.

Join Tom in February 2024 on this magical nine-day, winter-landscape workshop to explore the bewitching island of Senja, situated far above the Arctic Circle – an untouched photographic paradise of snow-clad jagged peaks, traditional fishing villages and glass-like fjords, far from the madding crowds. The high latitude means the blue hour – that enchanting spell between sunset and true darkness – can stretch to three hours at this time of year, and night skies free of light pollution make it one of the best places on Earth to shoot the Northern Lights. This will be Tom's 5th trip to Senja so he knows the locations very well in order to get you in the right place for the right conditions.
